VSE magazine has been published by the Association Nationale des Docteurs ès Sciences Economiques et en Sciences de Gestion since 1960. This journal is listed in the Fnege (National Foundation for Business Education and Management) ranking

(https://www.fnege.org/publications/classement-des-revues).

The VSE journal is published by ANDESE, the National Association of Doctors of Economics and Management Sciences, founded in 1953. ANDESE does not receive any public subsidies. The VSE journal is supported by doctors trained at French universities who wish to contribute to the development of management sciences, among other things, by supporting the VSE journal.

One of the areas of development identified by ANDESE is to enable young researchers to find a high-quality French-language publication outlet. The production of research articles in French contributes to the maintenance and development of the French-speaking academic space in management sciences. This positioning is perfectly illustrated in the special issue published each year by VSE and dedicated to the ANDESE thesis prize. The jury for this prize, made up of professors of management and economics, awards a prize to the best thesis published in economics and/or management. The selection of theses under the direction of Prof. Jean-Jacques Pluchart and then Prof. Jean-François Lemoine, professor of management sciences and current president of the jury, is highly selective. Out of an average of 30 theses received each year, there are 3 to 6 nominated theses in addition to the winner.

The journal has been available on the Cairn.info database since 2005 and has been included in the FNEGE ranking of general management journals. Since 2022, the VSE journal has been ranked 4th by the FNEGE. VSE is also referenced in Cairn International. The VSE journal has been referenced in the American databases Ebsco and Proquest for 14 years.

A unique positioning that promotes cross-functional collaboration within organizations!

In order to understand how wealth is created, distributed, and consumed in the 21st century, we believe it is essential to conduct an in-depth analysis of organizations in general, and businesses in particular. In all territories, companies play an essential role in wealth creation, whether through their production, their participation in trade, or their payment of salaries. We believe that the scientific projects that result from this, through the research carried out by the scientific community, are closely linked to the need to provide an understanding of these facts for the benefit of society. However, while several common structures exist in the academic field, VSE is the only generalist academic journal offering a forum for exchange between academic and professional specialists, between management sciences and other disciplines, and between experienced researchers and young doctors (this positioning is perfectly illustrated in the special issue published each year by VSE and dedicated to the ANDESE thesis prize).

This generalist and cross-disciplinary positioning has been VSE's distinctive feature since its creation in 1960. VSE has maintained regular publication throughout these years, providing a complementary perspective to other more specialized media in our scientific communities. These two axes have been at the heart of VSE's DNA for all these years. VSE's generalist positioning is in line with the academic requirements of any scientific research endeavor. However, the need to break down the barriers between different areas of expertise in a more general approach is essential to understanding current and future societal trends. ...

Thus, VSE's innovative positioning since 1960, which has continued over the years, has led us to reinforce our editorial policy along the following lines:

VSE is committed to an ethical approach as an organization involved in its scientific community. As such, it applies the “COPS for research integrity - https://publicationethics.org/guidance-and-tools” ethical charter in its own processes.

Every author wishing to submit an article to the VSE scientific journal undertakes to comply strictly with this ethical charter. The editorial board reserves the right to refuse scientific contributions that do not comply with the values set out in this ethical charter.

Contributions to VSE will first be submitted to the editorial board, which will determine whether the articles can enter the evaluation process. Next, a double-blind procedure is carried out by members of the scientific committee and/or a professional with expertise in the subject area. The reviewers' comments are forwarded to the authors. Articles will only be accepted for publication if they take the reviewers' comments into account. Any article submitted by an author automatically implies their agreement to publication in VSE in both print and digital formats. The author(s) certify(s) that the proposed article is the result of individual or collective work and that the sources used are explicitly referenced in the bibliography appended to the article.

Contributions to VSE must allow a certain transversality in the scientific contributions proposed (transversalities in the disciplinary fields, transversalities in the fields used, transversalities in the researcher/professional collaborations...);

Contributions to the VSE must provide a factual dimension to the contributions and managerial recommendations made.
