Summary:

The facts show a significant gap between human’s slow climate awareness and their scientific knowledge of the climatic disturbances generated by human activity, which is relatively old. However, the “geopolitical” rise of the climate has been undeniable since the 1980s, with a global governance established and now at work, even if the economic world seems more represented than a real actor in it. By contrast, the late “managerial” rise of climate now only seems to be taking shape at the dawn of the second quarter of the twenty-first century, as shown by numerous signals put into perspective in this contribution.
