Abstract:

While the issue of integrating processual and personalized dimensions of entrepreneurial accompaniment has been raised by the entrepreneurship literature, the practices and modalities for reconciling them have not yet been clarified. To remedy this, we conducted a qualitative survey of 39 novice Tunisian entrepreneurs and three managers of public accompaniment structures. The results reveal that the combination of processual and personalized aspects of entrepreneurial accompaniment in the Tunisian context is facilitated by adopting a sequential, asymmetrical and contingent approach. It materializes, at the beginning and during the procedure, through largely mobilizing and situational training focused on the action and the emancipation of the accompanied person. At the end of the path, it results in technical and administrative assistance, within a prescriptive framework, dedicated to the creation of the company and the launch of the activity.
