Abstract:

This research aims to determine the key factors in the post-acquisition integration of FAs in a turbulent or diversified environment. Based on a qualitative study carried out in a case of Ivorian M&A, our results reveal that for each group of actors interviewed, there are financial, strategic, procedural, organizational and human factors which impact the post-acquisition integration of the M&A studied. Furthermore, our work allowed us to understand the perceived performance of post- M&A integration as a regulatory mechanism which makes it possible to renew the systems and practices of management of the acquired assets and the acquirer, and to give actors the opportunity to establish a new managerial relationship.
