Résumé :

Le financement de la transition énergétique est un enjeu majeur au niveau mondial, national et local. La France s’est dotée d’une loi, la TECV (Transition Énergétique pour le Croissance Verte). La prise de conscience des citoyens est également primordiale. Elle peut se faire au niveau local via différents dispositifs incitatifs. Cette recherche exploratoire montre comment les plateformes de crowdfunding contribuent à l’implication des citoyens au niveau local et permettent à un territoire local de s’approprier un enjeu sociétal mondial. Cependant, la variété des modèles proposés ne permet pas de conclure à un réel développement du crowdfunding citoyen.

Abstract:

Financing the energy transition is a major issue at the global, national and local levels. France has a law, the TECV (Energy Transition for Green Growth). Citizen awareness is also paramount. It can be done locally through different incentive schemes. This exploratory research shows how crowdfunding platforms contribute to civic involvement at the local level and enable a local territory to take control of a global societal challenge. The variety of the models proposed does not allow to conclude to a real development of the civic crowdfunding.
