The unprecedented challenge posed by climate change calls for a reassessment of traditional methods and the adoption of innovative approaches. In this quest for innovation, Design Thinking and generative artificial intelligence (AI) are emerging as promising tools, offering new perspectives for the design of ecological solutions. This academic exploration aims to examine how the synergy between these two fields, coupled with the development of specific skills, can catalyze substantial advances in the fight against climate disruption (Brown, 2008; Russell & Norvig, 2016).

Design Thinking, with its human-centered approach, encourages the empathetic and creative exploration of environmental problems, while valuing an iterative and collaborative process (Brown, 2008). This methodology enables an in-depth understanding of ecological needs and challenges, facilitating the generation of relevant and sustainable solutions. Furthermore, generative AI, thanks to its exceptional ability to analyze large datasets and model complex scenarios, offers considerable potential for anticipating environmental impacts and optimizing mitigation strategies (Russell & Norvig, 2016).

Our research focuses on demonstrating how the integration of Design Thinking and generative AI can not only accelerate innovation in the field of ecological transformation, but also improve the efficiency and relevance of proposed solutions...

Résumé :
