Abstract:

Project leaders rooted in a territory benefit from a favorable socio-economic ecosystem through the solicitation of networks of partner actors. Despite a lack of studies on what happens, we have the opportunity here to explain the nature of these interactions in the construction of territorial cooperation. The added value in this incubation space for the mobilization of skills is multiple: it is based on the «coopetition" of already existing local players who seek to coordinate in the support they can provide to new startups that are complementary but nevertheless competitive with their core business. We seek here to clarify this notion of "coopetition" with territorial players within incubators to define a reflective theoretical vision on the subject.
