Abstract:
The ageing of the population raises the essential question of keeping elderly people with loss of autonomy at home and the support this require. The silver economy and new technologies offer interesting prospects, but markets and offerings remain weakly integrated and innovations are struggling to spread and combine with the human dimension. In this context, our research focuses on a local initiative that seeks to overcome these difficulties by bringing together a variety of actors within an ecosystem dedicated to e-silver autonomy at home with the aim of developing innovative integrated solutions combining human and digital. The proposed analysis in terms of a business ecosystem makes it possible to account for the different sequences that punctuate the birth phase of the ecosystem, as well as the conditions for the emergence of a community of destiny and interests, of a shared leadership oriented towards participation and of a dynamic of co-evolution and building of skills.
